COMMISSIONS

In October 2024 we launched our first Craft & Design Pop Up academy in collaboration with Milasande crafts and the Karoo Souk. The project aims to create interest among young people in rural communities by demonstrating to them the possibilities and opportunities that exist within the design and craft space, as well as approaches they can use as a guide to become part of the creative economy.

For the pilot we have invited established local artisans and international designers to lead orkshops imparting crafting and design techniques to unemployed youth and aspiring creative entrepreneurs in the community.

This project was made possible by the Nordic Kultur Fund.

WORKSHOPS

We curate craft retreat, workshops and experiences for groups and private clients in collaboration with Ingyeyo studio & The Herd Designs. they are facilitated by established designers & ARTISANS.

RESEARCH

The textile research project explores work by custodians of the craft in the Global South. We have done documented artisans and their work in different countries in the African continent and Latin America.
